What i feel.

You know how some teachers treat certain groups of people differently? not particularly favortism, just different treatment. One of my favorite classes this year has been honors world history, taught by my favorite acedimic teacher of the year Andy Rasch. He always talks to everyone as if they are all different to him and not identical to everything that walks through the door. Like every teacher should, he gives everyone a chance to speak even if its only every once in awhile.
But every 2 to 3 days out of a week he'll lean to the Scarlett Johanson side rather than the Winona Ryder side.
I recall keeping my hand up on and off almost the whole class period until about 15 minutes till the bell. I was trying to answer different questions and disscuss things. Even though the whole time i'd keep putting my hand up long before the "scarlett's" and he'd say, "well your(talking to a scarlett) hand was up first, so you can answer." Almost at the end of the enitre studdy session he finally begins to let me answer a question. He tells the whole class to turn to a certain page after i offered to answer it, then when everyone got to the page i told him that i had the actual answers and he was like, "yeah, you can read them." I passed him off. "I don't want to now."
The way he'll look at me compared to the scarlett's-which by now i hope you've figured out that they're classified in the stereotypical pretty girl group-he'll give me a smirk and them a laugh or a playful comment...

winona ryder from girl interrupted.

I guess when it comes down to it its the fact that Andy is attracted to a stereotypical idea of women. The idea being that women who are or act like they're full of air means that they're spineless, weak and feeble enough to dominate. Along with ignorant comments about serious topics or cardboard subjects and trendy senses of styles... for example...
Trendahhhhh!
Right theree..
I'm mostly just annoyed for the tremendous amount of tolerance he has for the scarlett's. I know what he's attracted to though. The scarlett's...even though he values peoples intelligence when they have it-he does not savor it.
I was so wrapped up in that, that i didn't get a chance to tell you how much i love winona ryder! she's one of my favorite actresses. Her snaggle tooth and dry eyes complete her face. She has this essence about her that's eerie and intreging. With every character she plays though she always has boyish undertones that are just so sexy...like a match striking my curiousity.
Have a nice night...

  1. Firstly,You are really critical on Scarlett. Granted she does have this really cookie cutter idea of beauty, when it comes to her body, but look at her face! The only word I have for it is soulful, her face matches her singing voice.
Secondly, I agree with you whole-heartedly that most people tend to treat "scarletts" better. Its life. Not necessarily the right way things should be, but Its the status quo. It goes way back to cavemen finding the most fertile mate. I'm under the impression that all men do it.
Thirdly and Lastly, I believe it gets better with the environment. The more openminded and less strapped down to gender roles and ideas, the more appreciated actresses like Winona Ryder are. But what I find so attractive about Women like that is that they don't actually care about what others think or treat them. They have an altruistic manner and have bigger issues on their plates than how their tits look in their top. Which Scarlett probably never worries about, Ive seen those nude pics. they are perfect.
